As Halloween approaches, more character goods feature costumes. Taking the three Chiikawa "Minna de Kasou na Mascot" (everyone in costume) mascots listed at Loop KOBE (Mercari Shops) as examples, this guide uses the shop's own photos to go through the differences between the types, their sizes and what the tags say.

What the series is

According to an announcement distributed through PR TIMES, "Minna de Kasou na Mascot" is a series of eight mascots showing the Chiikawa characters in Halloween costumes. Pre-orders were taken on the official web shop Chiikawa Market from 6:00 pm on May 13 to noon on May 18, 2026, with shipping planned to start in stages from around late September 2026. The maker is Gray Parker Service Co., Ltd.

The eight types in the announcement are listed below. The announcement also said that once shipping of the pre-ordered items began, the mascots would be sold at Chiikawa Market and some physical stores as well.

  • Nurse Chiikawa
  • Nurse Hachiware
  • Doctor Usagi
  • Bat Momonga
  • Edamame Kurimanju
  • Ichigo Daifuku Rakko
  • Baphomet Shisa
  • Bat Furuhonya

Loop KOBE has listed three of these: Nurse Hachiware, Doctor Usagi and Bat Momonga, one of each.

How the three costumes differ

TypeCostume, as seen in the photosApprox. size (official announcement)
Nurse HachiwareWhite nurse cap with a black heart, white apron with a red heart and red markingsAbout H110 x W80 x D55 mm
Doctor UsagiMint-green surgical cap, mask and gown, with red markings on the gownAbout H130 x W90 x D60 mm
Bat MomongaFluffy purple bat suit with orange ears and wings, and a black polka-dot bow tieAbout H140 x W110 x D60 mm

These sizes are the approximate figures from the announcement, not measurements of the items Loop KOBE has listed. Of the three, Bat Momonga is the largest and Nurse Hachiware the smallest. All three come with a ball chain, so they can be clipped onto a bag.

Looking at the real photos

In the photos, all three are still in their clear bags. Nurse Hachiware and Doctor Usagi have red markings on the apron and gown, giving them a slightly spooky, Halloween-style look. Bat Momonga is made of a long-pile, fluffy fabric, so its texture looks quite different from the other two.

Reading the header tag

In the photo of Nurse Hachiware, the white header tag shows an age grading of 6 and up, the product name "Chiikawa Minna de Kasou na Mascot (Nurse Hachiware)", the maker's name, Gray Parker Service, the notices "©nagano" and "MADE IN CHINA", the Japanese recycling mark for plastic packaging, and a barcode.

The back view shows the apron strings tied in a bow. The back of the square tag has an illustration of the character. Each product page says the item will be sent with its tag attached and still in its bag, so when it arrives, it is worth checking the tag and both sides of the mascot while it is still in the bag.
