Reading the Box of the SKULLPANDA 6kHz Plush: Age 15+, Materials, Warnings and What "Sealed" Tells You
Using our own photos of the POP MART SKULLPANDA 6kHz plush listed at Loop KOBE, this guide reads the product name, model number, age rating, materials and small-parts warning printed on the back of the box, and explains what you can and cannot check on a sealed item.

POP MART's SKULLPANDA line includes not only figures but also plush versions with a hard face. Loop KOBE has a sealed SKULLPANDA 6kHz plush, and this guide uses our own photos of the box to show what the back label tells you, and what you can and cannot check on an item that is still sealed.
What the front and side of the box show
The front of the box has the SKULLPANDA logo and a clear window, with "6kHz" and "SKULLPANDA PLUSH" printed at the bottom. Through the window you can see a red-haired SKULLPANDA in a long-pile red hood and a red-and-black check outfit, with a scarf strung with silver beads. The side of the box also reads "SKULLPANDA PLUSH-6kHz".

Reading the Japanese label on the back
The back of the box carries product information in Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean. The table below summarises what the Japanese section says. The model number and production code can help when comparing against other lots of the same product, but on their own they do not prove whether an item is genuine.
| Field | What the Japanese section says |
|---|---|
| Product name | SKULLPANDA nuigurumi (plush) - 6kHz |
| Model number | P-04800410284 |
| Age rating | 15 and over |
| Shell | Polyester / PVC / ABS |
| Stuffing | Polyester |
| Made in | China (Shenzhen, Guangdong) |
| Japanese distributor | POP MART JAPAN |

Lower down on the back are CE and UKCA marks, a "QC PASSED" mark, a not-for-ages-0–3 symbol, an FSC Mix Packaging label, a barcode, and "© 2025 POP MART" and "Made in China". Besides the Japanese section, the box lists importer addresses in the United States and Canada, which shows it is a shared package sold in several regions.
"Age 15+" and the small-parts warning
The back warns, in Japanese and English, that the product contains small parts and balls and is a choking hazard, not for children under 3. It also states that the product is intended for collection and decoration by people aged 15 and over, and is not for children aged 14 and under. Despite looking like a soft toy, it is made as a collectible rather than a children's toy.
The silver beads on the scarf, visible through the window, are exactly the kind of small parts meant here. Japan's Consumer Affairs Agency notes that a child's mouth is about 4 cm across and anything smaller can be swallowed, and advises checking the age rating and any easily detached small parts when buying toys. In homes with small children, display it out of reach.
What a sealed box can and cannot tell you
The advantage of a sealed box is that you can see from the outside that nobody has handled the contents. Some things, however, cannot be checked without opening it. Our Loop KOBE listing notes that fine fibres, probably from manufacturing or static, can be seen on the face through the window, and that we photographed it as it is to keep it sealed.
- Visible: the condition of the box, and the colours and patterns of the face, hair and outfit through the window, plus the back label
- Hard to see: the back and feet of the plush, and small variations in stitching
- Per the listing: the eyes are on springs and can be angled after opening (this cannot be checked while sealed)
- The Chinese scratch-to-verify label (刮开验证) on the back: we have not scratched it in order to keep the item sealed, so it does not represent any verification result
If you are choosing an opened one instead, the deciding factor is whether the photos show the plush out of the box, so you can check the back, the feet, the number of beads on the scarf and the angle of the eyes. Whether sealed or opened suits you better depends on how you plan to display it and what matters most to you.
Checklist before buying
SKULLPANDA plush releases differ a lot from series to series in outfit and accessories; the 6kHz plush is quite different in materials and chain details from the Winter Symphony plush we covered earlier. Before buying, check that the listing title says 6kHz and that it matches the markings on the box in the photos.
- Does the listing title match the "6kHz" and "SKULLPANDA PLUSH" markings on the box?
- Can you see the model number, age rating and materials on the back in the photos?
- Is it sealed or opened? (If opened, check the accessories and the eye springs.)
- Any notes from the seller, such as fibres visible through the window
- Shipping method and dispatch time (our Loop KOBE listing says it ships in a cardboard box within 2–3 days of purchase)
Loop KOBE is a Mercari Shops store, and items are bought through Mercari's checkout. Prices and stock can change, so please check the product page for the latest details. We do not ship directly overseas. If you have questions, use "Ask about this item" on the product page before buying.
