Bocchi the Rock! Hitori Gotoh "ID Card": Reading the Chinese Label (限定赠品, 执行标准, 仅中国大陆地区销售) and Checking the 55 x 86 mm Size
Using our own listing photos of the paper Hitori Gotoh ID card from Bocchi the Rock!, this guide explains the product name, age, sales region and NOT FOR SALE wording on the label, and how to think about whether 55 x 86 mm fits your card holder.
Written by Koetsu Co., Ltd.

The words ID card may make you think of real identification. This Bocchi the Rock! Hitori Gotoh card is not that. It is a paper collectible modeled on the character's student ID, and the back in our photo is printed with Student ID Card.
The label on the back is in Chinese, which can be hard to read if you are buying in Japan. Using our listing photos, this guide explains how to read it and what to check before buying.
Start with the front and back

Along the left edge of the front, the small print reads © Aki Hamazi/HOUBUNSHA CO., LTD. and NOT FOR SALE. The series logo is at the top right. The card is in a clear bag, so the white glare in the photo likely comes from the bag.

How to read the label
| On the label | Meaning | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| 孤独摇滚-限定赠品ID卡-后藤独 第二弹 | Bocchi the Rock! limited gift ID card, Hitori Gotoh, second round | 赠品 means a gift or bonus item |
| 执行标准: GB/T 7705-2008 | The Chinese standard used as a basis | A printing standard, not proof of authenticity |
| 材质: 纸 | The material is paper | Keep it dry and flat |
| 适用年龄: 14岁以上 | For ages 14 and up | Not a plaything for young children |
| 尺寸: 55*86mm (手工测量可能存在误差) | 55 x 86 mm, hand-measured so it may vary slightly | Check a holder by its inner size |
| 出品方 / 生产厂家 | Publisher / manufacturer | Chinese company names appear on the label |
| 仅中国大陆地区销售 | For sale in mainland China only | Does not indicate a sales channel for Japan |
According to a catalogue entry, GB/T 7705-2008 is a standard for offset lithographic prints for decorating. For more on reading Chinese merchandise labels, see our luggage tag guide.
The small print says slight bending or fine marks may occur because of the production process, that it should not be given to children under 14, and that it is not sold to minors under 8. Part of it is hard to read in the photo, so please check the exact wording on the actual label.
What NOT FOR SALE and 赠品 mean
NOT FOR SALE and 限定赠品 tell you the card was made as a bonus item, not for sale on its own. Our listing is not a maker-priced new product either. It is an individual listing of a bonus item. We cover similar wording in our Chiikawa Shanghai bonus bag guide.
The label does not say which purchase it came with or when it was given out. Our listing describes it as a China-only purchase bonus, but this article has not confirmed the distribution terms. LICENSED BY HOUBUNSHA and the hologram sticker are reported as printed, and are not the result of any authentication by us.
Will 55 x 86 mm fit a card holder?
Standard cards such as credit cards are 85.60 x 53.98 mm under ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1. This card is labeled 55 x 86 mm, so it is about 1 mm larger on the short side and about 0.4 mm larger on the long side. The difference is small, but a snug pass holder may be a tight fit.
- Compare by inner size, not outer size (ask the seller if the page does not list it)
- The 55 x 86 mm figure is hand-measured, so leave some room
- It is paper, so do not force it into a tight rigid holder
- For long-term display, avoid direct sunlight and humidity
