Where to Put Chiikawa HIPPERS: Your Phone, Computer or Desk?

When choosing a Chiikawa HIPPERS figure, think about where you will enjoy seeing it each day as well as which character you like. Will it travel with your phone, or keep you company at your desk? Picking one everyday use makes it easier to decide where it belongs.
HIPPERS are decorative figures designed to attach to familiar objects. They have a removable adhesive sheet on the belly side. For a phone, consider the case and how you carry it
Seeing a favourite character whenever you use your phone is part of the appeal. But the top edge is also near cameras and other features. Before removing the backing, hold the figure near the intended position and check whether it would cover the screen or camera.
A curved edge or a deeply textured case may not offer a suitable contact surface. Do not force the figure onto a place where the adhesive sheet cannot sit properly. The phone model alone is not enough to judge the fit: the case you actually use matters too.
Think about how you put the phone away. If the figure is likely to catch every time it enters a pocket or bag, a desk accessory that you see often may suit your routine better.
For a computer or frame, check the front and back
At a desk, look beyond where the face will appear. Check how far the figure projects behind the object as well. On a computer, keep cameras, sensors and the screen clear. On a laptop, consider the movement of the lid. The device's everyday functions should guide your choice of position.
With a photo frame or pen holder, choose a position away from objects that could knock the figure off or hit it if it falls. Check the material and contact area first and follow the product instructions, instead of pulling hard on an attached figure to test it.

What a product photo can and cannot tell you
The close-up shows the character's rounded form and face, clear film over the figure, and opened packaging. It cannot establish how far the figure would project from your own phone, how securely the adhesive would contact that surface, or whether it has previously been attached to something.

Before buying, check the condition that affects your intended use
For an opened or secondhand figure you plan to attach, look for an explanation of the adhesive sheet's use and the backing's condition. An opened outer box and a figure that has already been attached to an object are different things. If the listing does not make this clear, ask the seller before buying.
