From Shinsaibashi Station to Yakitori Dinner in Minamikyuhoji
Planning yakitori dinner near Shinsaibashi? Match Osaka Metro exit information with the restaurant’s official Minamikyuhoji address before walking.

After shopping around Shinsaibashi, you may want to head to Minamikyuhoji for yakitori. Before walking, check both the station exit and the restaurant address. Shinsaibashi connects more than one subway line, and the side on which you emerge changes your starting point.
Start with the station and the destination
Osaka Metro identifies Shinsaibashi as M19 on the Midosuji Line and N15 on the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line. Before following an exit sign, locate yourself on the station map or signs. A transfer through nearby Yotsubashi can also change where you reach street level; do not assume every exit name leads to the same starting point.
The restaurant’s official address is 3-2-15 Minamikyuhoji-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka, Sankyubashi Gardenscape E. Include the building name and the final E when entering a destination; that is more precise than searching only for the neighborhood. In Japanese, Minamikyuhoji is the district and Sankyubashi appears in the building name.
Use exit information as a guide, then check current signs
Osaka Metro’s exit and area map associates Exit 1 with the north side of Nagahori-dori, Sankyubashi-suji and parts of Minamisemba. That helps orient a walk toward Minamikyuhoji. This article does not promise that Exit 1 is open at all times or is the shortest choice from every platform.
Construction, equipment status and the need for an elevator can change which exit works best. With large luggage or a step-free requirement, consult the station’s current accessible route information. Match your present platform and mobility needs to an exit rather than choosing a number in isolation.
Once at street level, compare your live position with the restaurant pin on a map. Check that the destination shows Minamikyuhoji-cho 3-chome and the building name before committing to a direction. The cover illustration is conceptual; it is not a street-level navigation image.
Three practical checks before dinner
| Check | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Current station exit | Construction and facilities can alter your route |
| Address and building name | Avoid stopping at another point in the neighborhood |
| Hours and contact | Allow for irregular closures or changes |
Yakitori Senkichi’s official site lists the address, telephone number and hours and notes occasional irregular closures. When you have a date in mind, check the current schedule on the official page or contact the restaurant. This guide cannot confirm seat availability or that day’s opening hours.
If this is your first yakitori dinner, browsing the menu before arriving can make ordering easier. Our yakitori ordering guide explains common skewer names. Confirm current prices, availability and preparation at the restaurant.
When meeting someone, agree on a gate or a street-level meeting point rather than saying only “Shinsaibashi Station.” Different exits can leave you on different sides of the area. Once together, use the same destination pin to start the walk.
